CHAMP – multiCHannel lock-in AMPlifier Spectrometer

CHAMP is an advanced optical spectrometer based on proprietary multi-channel lock-in amplification technology, delivering extremely low noise, sub-microsecond response, and high spectral precision. Specifically designed for broadband Stimulated Raman Scattering (SRS) microscopy, CHAMP enables real-time reconstruction of pixel-wise vibrational spectra with MHz modulation frequencies.
With 38 independent detection channels and parallel demodulation capability, CHAMP provides unmatched performance in high-speed, high-sensitivity Raman imaging.
Compact, modular, and easily integrated into research microscopes, it offers a scalable platform for state-of-the-art chemical imaging and spectroscopy.

Feauters
  • 38 spectral channels, each with independent lock-in amplifiers.
  • Extremely low electronic noise thanks to proprietary multi-channel lock-in technology.
  • High spectral resolution (<9 cm⁻¹) across the CH-stretching region (2800–3100 cm⁻¹).
  • Fast response times, with integration down to 1 μs and MHz-range detection.
  • Shot-noise-limited dynamic range of 22 dB – ultimate SNR with only 25 μW optical power per channel.
  • Real-time demodulated signal extraction and average power readout on all channels simultaneously.
  • Compact and modular architecture for seamless integration with SRS microscopes and STRALE laser systems.
  • USB 3.0 interface for high-speed data transfer to PC.
Applications
  • Broadband SRS microscopy for high-speed chemical imaging.
  • Label-free biomedical and cellular imaging with real-time vibrational spectra reconstruction.
  • Material science and nanostructure characterization.
  • High-frequency modulation-transfer detection and spectroscopy.
  • Integration with STRALE laser systems for complete coherent Raman platforms (e.g., CORAL).
