Surface Layer Scintillometer SLS20 ES

The Scintec SLS20 ES Surface Layer Scintillometer is an advanced optical system designed to measure atmospheric turbulence, sensible heat flux, and momentum flux without any mechanical sensors. When combined with additional meteorological instruments, the system can also determine latent heat flux and evaporation.A key innovation of the SLS ES Series is the proprietary displaced-beam technique, which enables the measurement of mechanical turbulence parameters such as momentum flux and turbulent kinetic energy dissipation rate without external wind data. The SLS20 ES is fully eye-safe (Laser Safety Class 1) and designed for reliable operation in both stable and unstable atmospheric conditions.
